Heaven received a beautiful angel on March 12, 2023. Elizabeth C. Thomas passed away peacefully at the age of 86. Her final days were happily spent at Masonicare in Mystic. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard T. Thomas. They were happily married for 61 years. Elizabeth has left behind her beloved 3 children and 7 grandchildren; her sons, Richard Thomas and his wife, Mary Thomas, and Kenneth Thomas and his wife Michelle Thomas, her daughter June Carroll and her husband Brian Carroll, and her beloved grandchildren Marie, Jillian, Thomas, Keith, Brendan, Tyler and Madison. She was loved by so many family members and friends. She will be forever missed and in our hearts.
Elizabeth (Liz) Thomas was a wonderful homemaker and cook. She loved family dinners with her family and loved to feed everyone her amazing Italian cooking, especially her delicious homemade pizza and grinders. She cherished the times she got to be with her grandchildren. Nanny Liz you will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and traditions you left us.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 17, at 11am at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 181 Elizabeth Street, Norwich CT 06360. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.
