Jean (Medeiros) Enos, 84, of Bonita Springs and Ft. Myers Beach Florida, passed away peacefully on February 18th, 2023 in Naples Community Hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annette (Mignault) of Fall River Massachusetts.
Jean was a long time resident of Westport Massachusetts where she resided with her late husband Reynold (Rene) Enos. Jean was a hard worker from her earliest years ,starting out in her parents grocery store to ultimately becoming a hairdresser and owning her own beauty salon. After retirement Jean & Rene moved to their beach front condo on Ft. Myers Beach. Jean loved walking the beach, being anywhere in the sunshine, driving her red convertible and traveling. She loved all dogs and anything chocolate! Sipping a cocktail while sitting on her balcony watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico was her idea of paradise.
Jean was the loving partner of Major Wheelock of Bonita Springs Florida for the past 17 years. She is survived by her two children Kerrie (Frank) Raposo of Westport and Randall Enos of Mattapoisett. She was most proud of her Grandchildren, Brooke (Robert) Alejo, Nicholas Raposo, Jillian Enos and Jane Enos and Great Grandchildren Mya, Luna and Reese Alejo. Jean is survived by two brothers ,Thomas Medeiros of St. Petersburg Florida and Joseph Medeiros of Fall River .She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Moniz.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday March 3, 2023. Visitation will be 9:30-11:00AM with Memorial service immediately following.
Interment in Beech Grove cemetery.
