TIVERTON… Robert M. Drewniak, age 83, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Orchard View Manor in East Providence, RI.
Born in Fall River, MA, Robert was son of the late Stephen W. and Mary J. (Gardula) Drewniak. He lived most of his life in Middletown, RI before moving to Tiverton several years ago.
Robert served his country in the United States Marine Corps, enlisting in 1957. Inspired by his love of fishing, he later went on to own and operate Edwards Fishing and Tackle in Middletown, RI. Robert also loved playing cards.
Survivors include his sisters, Joan Pacheco and Marilyn Aguiar, both of Tiverton, RI. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sister, the late Dorothy Labossiere. He was much beloved by several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and wonderful friends Peter and Danielle Walsh and his Hancock Estates family.
Arrangements were private. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
