Jeannette V. Peterson, 87, of Ledyard died Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London. She is predeceased by her husband, Dale “Pete” Peterson who died in 2014.
Jeannette was much-loved and a beautiful spirit. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by four children; daughter Jeri of Naples FL, sons Bill of Groton, Rick (Monica) of Naples FL, and Charlie of Ledyard and by her sister Cheryl Street of Alabama.
She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Rosalie Webber, Joanne English, and Janice Peterson, brother-in-law Vince Peterson and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she is predeceased by her oldest son, Dale Peterson who died in 1977.
A Graveside Service will be held in the spring in Starr Hill Burial Ground and will be announced in the New London Day and on this website.
