Dartmouth – Maria E. (Caboz) Pimentel, age 97, of South Dartmouth, MA passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernesto Pimentel.
Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Azores and was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel Caboz Jacinto and Diolinda (Narcizo) Caboz. She had worked as a line worker at various local clothing manufacturers.
She is survived by her children, Maria Pimentel, Floriano Pimentel and his wife Cecelia, Joao Pimentel and his wife Norberta, Ernesto Pimentel and his wife Paula, Alfredo Pimentel and his wife Maria dos Anjos, Natalia Luis and her husband Louis and Maria Pereira and her husband Antonio, daughter-in-law, Fatima Pimentel (Antonio Pimentel); 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Antonio Pimentel (Fatima) and mother-in-law of the late Antonino Santos (Maria).
Maria’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
