Jeannette M. (Champagne) Allen, age 92, of Attleboro, formerly of Norton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Garden Place Healthcare in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell A. Allen, to whom she was wed for nearly sixty-six years at the time of his death on March 31, 2015.

Born in Coventry, Vermont on June 17, 1930, she was a loving daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Jane (Desbiens) Champagne.

Jeannette spent her younger years living in Coventry, Vermont. Her family later moved to Norton, where she was educated in Norton Public Schools.

A dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, Mrs. Allen had also worked at the former Foster Metal Products in Attleboro, at Triad, Inc. in Norton, as well as at other manufacturing companies in the Attleboro area.

Jeannette’s family was the essence of her life and always her number one priority. She was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Attleboro and along with her late husband, was a former member of the Norton Country Club. Jeannette also enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing cribbage.

She is survived by her devoted daughters: Judy L. Hall and her husband True of Norton and Jana L. Regan and her husband James of Attleboro. She was the cherished grandmother of Taylor Hall, Cam Hall, Sean Vacher, Nicole Wright, Aidan Lynch and the great grandmother of Tristan Wright. She was the dear sister of Theresa Beaulieu of Plainville, Lena Fraser of South Carolina, Rita Champagne of Washington, DC, Norman Champagne of Taunton, Linda Gerrick of Virginia and the late Wilfred Champagne, Louis Champagne and Leo Champagne. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Services, along with burial at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
