Suk Hyan “Suky” (Paek) Cintolo, age 43, of Norton, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey P. Cintolo and the devoted mother of Benson Chang.

Born in Seoul, South Korea on May 6, 1979, she was a loving daughter of Hyang Won (Kim) Paek and the late Young Wan Paek.

Suky spent her early childhood living in South Korea. At the age of 5, her family moved to the United Sates, first settling in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a 1998 graduate of Cheltenham High School in Pennsylvania and continued her education, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education in 2003 graduate from Indiana University. At the time of her death, she was eagerly working on her master’s degree.

A resident of Norton for the past thirteen years, she had worked as a pre-school teacher at the Rainbow Kids Learning Center in Norton. Suky was a devout Christian whose world was centered entirely by her determination and motivation for her husband and son. She was passionate about teaching all her students and grateful for her co-worker’s endless support.

Suky had a natural flare for style and design and will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills, especially her famous lasagna and always being the first person to lend someone in need a helping hand. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her, and the memories she created will live on in their hearts forever.

In addition to her husband, son and mother, she is survived by her dear sister and brother Ki Hyan Paek and her companion Sherwin Rosales of Fort Wayne Indiana and Tae Hyan Paek of South Korea. She was the cherished niece of Sunshine Baird and her husband Richard Baird, Jr. She was the treasured cousin of Richard Baird, III and his wife Nikki Baird and Charles Baird. She the loving granddaughter of the late Un Im Paek and E ten Paek. She is also survived by Benson’s grandparents Kwangnam and Yongia Chang and the late Patrick and Joan Cintolo.

Memorial services in celebration of her life, as well as burial at the Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxboro will be held privately.

Those wishing may remember Suky with a donation in her memory made to Project 351, 50 Milk Street, Floor 16, Boston, MA 02109. This organization was extremely important to her son Benson.
