Anne M. Leahy(Devine) OF Canton passed away December 21st. Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from St. Gregory’s High School and Boston State Teachers College. She began teaching at the Hemingway School in Canton and went on to teach in the Boston Public Schools for over 30 years before retiring. She has lived in Canton since 1965 and previously owned the Canton Junction Exchange Antique Shop.
Beloved wife of the late Francis A. Mother of Susan E. Leahy of Canton and Francis A. Leahy III of Canton. Grandmother of Samantha, Robert, Benjamin, and Emma. Great grandmother of baby Francis. Sister of the late Frank Devine and his wife Conchetta Devine of Hingham. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church, Canton Wednesday morning at 10:00. Burial Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston. | |||||
