WALSH, John M. Jr. (BFD retired) of Taunton formally of West Roxbury passed away surrounded by family on October 27, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Firefighter Ladder 25 and Aid to Deputy Chief. Proud Vietnam Veteran serving two tours. Member of DAV Chapter 3. John Enjoyed spending time with his high school buddies and would meet up monthly for lunch. He also enjoyed spending his winters in Florida working on his golf game that after years still needed much improvement. John had the gift of gab and could pretty much fix anything.
Son of the late John M. & Mary M. Walsh. He is survived by his brothers: Richard (BFD ret) (Judith), Joseph, Paul (Marilyn); his son John Walsh (Rhonda) granddaughters Ava and Anabella all of Easton; his niece Danni Lynn and her husband Scott Sinclair who cared for John and provided unconditional love and support during this past year, nephews Jamie Walsh (BFD), Jay Walsh (BFD) and many loving nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by all. Donations in his memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at t2t.org.
