Obituary

Frederick F. Campbell, 88, of Bedford, NH, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, surrounded by his loving family in the Courville at Manchester, NH. He was born on August 4, 1934 in Boston, MA, a son of the late Freeman and Winnie (Tobin) Campbell. Fred proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Fred was a co-owner of C & K Appliance Supply in Andover, MA. He was an active member of the Londonderry Lions Club for 20 years, holding the position of President at one time. He was a handyman, who loved to fix things. Fred was an avid golfer. In later years, he enjoyed attending Navy reunions, travelling all over the country and took great pride in walking in the 4th of July Parade each year.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Campbell and his significant other Dawn of Parsonsfield, ME, and Kenneth Campbell and wife Roberta of Gorham, ME; two daughters, Susan Campbell and husband David of Bedford, and Lynne Tensel and husband Michael of Belmont, NH; eight grandchildren, Maggie, Jazmine, Tristan, Natalie, Catherine, Sabrina, Griffin and Hannah; one great grandchild Leo; two brothers, James Campbell of Weymouth, MA and Robert Campbell of Naples, FL; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years Margaret “Peg” (Flaherty) Campbell in 2018.

Visitation will be held on Friday October 7, 2022 from 10 to 11 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Private burial will be in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Fred’s name be made to St. Elizabeth Seton, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH 03110.
