Marilyn O. Morash, 90, of Windham, NH, passed away September 22, 2022. Marilyn was born on February 2, 1932, in Gardner MA, the daughter of the late Louis and Irene Vezzani.
Marilyn raised her family in Westford, MA. She lost her first husband Roger Breton in 1971, and later married Leslie Morash in 1989, residing in Windham, NH. Additionally, they spent many years at their second home in Wesley Chapel, FL, enjoying golf and travel.
Marilyn was an accomplished and prize-winning artist, and her work was admired by all. She generously gifted her artwork to family and friends, which will be long treasured.
She took much pride in being a very special grandma and great-grandma.
She was at her happiest when she received phone calls and visits from all her family and friends. The children loved doing art projects with her and sneaking into the kitchen for treats from her candy jar. Marilyn loved her cats, Calico & Timmy, who both lived long & happy lives under her doting care.
Marilyn’s beautiful gardens were a testament to the amount of time she put into them. Trips to the beach with her family were always a special occasion. Stopping at Browns or Markeys for lobster on the way home was a must! She was a terrific cook who could always be counted on to make delicious home cooked meals; spaghetti and meatballs being a favorite.
Marilyn is survived by her children and their spouses: Beverly and Phil Mundahl of Keene, NH, Barbara and Andrew Griffith of Newburyport, MA, Roger and Cheryl Breton of Westford, MA, and Donna and Jason Poirier of Bedford, NH. She is also survived by grandchildren: David, Gregory, Zachary, Leah, Alexander, and Abigail, and her great-grandchildren: Brady, Anna, Nicholas, William, Cameron, Silas, Tomas, and Renzo. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Leslie Morash and remained close with his children Linda Kirk, Barbara Morash, Anita Durette, Lee Morash, and their families.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, October 15th from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd, LONDONDERRY, NH. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Cemetery on the Plains, Windham, NH.
