Kenneth J. Durfee, 68, of Tiverton, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Sharon (McGlynn) Durfee.
Born in Fall River, son of the late Kenneth W. and Helen V. (Kimball) Durfee, he was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He was an IT technician for Cox Communications and prior to that he was a rigger for Electric Boat for 20 years. Mr. Durfee enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World and was an avid football fan. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Including his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Kelly A. Martinez and her husband Mario of Tiverton; a brother: Ronald Durfee and his wife Sandy of KY; 2 sisters: Barbara Chase and her husband Tim of Tiverton and Carol Rebello and her companion Dave of New Bedford; 2 grandsons: Kai Mussenden and Silas Martinez; a brother-in-law: Eric McGlynn and his wife Ebony; a sister-in-law: Roxanne McGlynn; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Potter Funeral Home at at 8:00 P.M.
Memorial visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M. prior to the service.
