Paul H. Bernner, Jr., age 61, of Stoughton, formerly of Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his adoring family on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton.
Born in Boston, MA on April 26, 1961, he was a loving son of the late Paul H., Sr. and Kathryn A. (Mayo) Bernner.
Paul grew up and was educated in Mansfield. He made his home in Stoughton for the past twenty years and worked as a hardwood floor installer. Paul enjoyed spending time with family, being outdoors and fishing. He possessed talented mechanical skills, enjoyed working on cars and will always be remembered for his love of animals.
He was the devoted father of Jennifer Burke of Rhode Island. He was the dear brother of Susan Rainville and her husband Richard of Maine and Karen Anderson and her husband Mark of Norton. He was the special uncle of Michael Rainville, Amanda Rainville, Eliza Rainville, Christopher Anderson, Joseph Anderson, Emily Anderson and Jonathan Burke. He is also survived by the mother of his daughter Christine Burke, as well as his many cherished cousins
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend graveside services on Friday, September 23rd at 3:00 P.M. at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Franklin Street in Mansfield
Those attending are asked to dress in causal attire
Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Paul with a donation in his memory made to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 25, Mansfield, MA 02048.
