Janet M. Pratt, age 66, of Woburn formerly of Belmont, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife for 42 years of Thomas Pratt. Born in Cambridge she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Barbara (Casey) Breen.
Janet was raised and educated in Belmont where she graduated from Belmont High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at Boston State College and earned her Master's Degree in Education from Lesley University.

Janet worked for many years as a school teacher at St. Charles Elementary Catholic School and more recently worked for nearly fifteen years as an Analyst with Dell Technologies prior to her retirement. Janet enjoyed vacationing and spending time in Wells, Maine at her second home. She loved sitting on the beach, reading, and sharing time with friends and family. She will be greatly missed

In addition to her beloved husband Tom, Janet is survived by her children, Elizabeth Anderson and her husband Kurt of Milford, and Benjamin Pratt of New York City. She was the loving grandmother of Molly and Tommy Anderson. Sister of Jay Breen of Sarasota, FL, Casey Breen of Wells, ME, and Kristen McLaughlin of Salem, NH. Special aunt of Joseph York and is further survived by many more loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, Thursday, September 8th, from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Janet's memory to the Dana Farber's Jimmy Fund Tribute Program, One Harvard St., Brookline, MA 02147-9795.
