Christine R. (Rynne) Horn, age 60, of Mansfield, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Brian D. Horn, to whom she was wed for twenty-seven years.
Born in Levittown, Pennsylvania on October 12, 1961, she was a loving daughter of the late William F. and Flora M. (Gagne) Rynne.
Chris grew up in Sterling, MA and was educated in Sterling and Leominster schools. She furthered her studies, earning certification as a nurse’s assistant.
More than anything else, Chris loved spending time with her adoring and when her daughter was growing up, served as a Mansfield Girl Scout Leader. She was a former member of the Mansfield Garden Club and her hobbies included gardening and raising chickens. Chris was also known to be environmentally self-conscious and was the first Mansfield resident to have solar panels installed at her home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Rachel M. Horn of Mansfield and Alex D. Horn of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of Kathy Zorn, Steve Rynne, Judy Rynne and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Services and burial are private.
