KENNEALLY, Joanne Marie (Dolan), 59, passed away surrounded by her family after a short but brave battle with cancer on August 1, 2022 in Boston. At eight years old, Joanne lost her father Charles E. (BFD) who was one of nine men killed in the line of duty at the Hotel Vendome. Her mother, Frances M., passed away four years later. Joanne then lived with her Aunt Belle, moving from Jamaica Plain to Milton, Ma. She later moved to West Roxbury and Dedham to start her family. Joanne was the beloved wife of the late George Kenneally III of Dorchester and is survived by her loving fiancé David Logan of Roslindale. Devoted mother of George, Patrick, and Katherine "Katie" Kenneally. Sister of Michael, Thomas, Paul and the late Charles and Richard Dolan. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Joanne worked for the West Roxbury Division of the Boston Municipal Court and as a lunch mother at the Patrick Lyndon School in West Roxbury. Joanne’s extreme kindness, willingness to always put others first, and the love and dedication she gave to her family are greatly missed. Visiting hours Friday, August 5th from 4-8 pm at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday, August 6th at 9:30am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10:30am. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
