Robert A. Bouchard, 89, of Naples, FL passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was the loving husband of the late Adele A. (Fanning) Bouchard.
Mr. Bouchard was born in New York, NY, son of the late Amedee and Evelyn (Banville) Bouchard. A veteran of the Korean War, he served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he worked as a corrections officer for the State of MA. Mr. Bouchard enjoyed summers in Tiverton and boating on the Sakonnet River. He lived for his family.
Survivors include his 2 sons: Robert S. Bouchard of Westport and Barry R. Bouchard of Donellon, FL; 3 daughters: Brenda A. Shea of Naples, FL, Dale A. Abdow of Westport and Dorine A. Vieira and her husband Barry of Millville, MA; a sister: Collette Thibault of Westport; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Bouchard and Jacqueline MacGregor.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 11:30 A.M.
Visitation will be Wednesday, at the Potter Funeral Home from 10-11 A.M. prior to the Mass.
Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
