Mary Josephine Canon passed away peacefully on Monday, July 4, 2022, at the age of 88. Mary was born in Brookline of the late John and Josephine Burke on November 1, 1933. Mary was predeceased by her husband Frederic F. Canon who passed away in 1975.
She is survived by her children, John F. Canon and his wife Carol Callahan of West Roxbury, Cathy A. Dandrow and her husband Robert of Marshfield, Dorothy J. Mills and her husband Robert of Auburn, JoAnn M. Thornton and her husband Kevin of Westerly, RI, and 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and the late Donna Marie Canon and Kyle F. Dandrow, all of whom she loved deeply.
We are comforted knowing Mary was always surrounded by a lifetime of a loving family which was her greatest joy.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Mary's Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 13th in St. Theresa Church at 11:30am. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
