UPDATED FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Visiting hours will be held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton on Sunday July 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be at the First Baptist Church, 2 S. Main St. Sharon Monday July 25th at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at the Canton Corner Cemetery. Shea, Maureen G. (O’Sullivan) of Cohasset, formerly of Lady Lake, FL and Canton passed away June 30th. She was born in Boston and raised in Hyde Park before making Canton her home in 1957. She retired to The Villages in Florida in 2003 after raising her five children. She worked as a bookkeeper for Cumberland Farms before retirement. She dedicated her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family was a cornerstone in how she raised her five children. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg and served faithfully in her community. She enjoyed water aerobics, bonco, dancing, puzzles, reading, and golf while living in Florida. She even got a hole in one while playing with her friends! Beloved wife for 60 years of the late John F. Shea. Cherished mother of John F. Shea, Jr and his wife Doreen of Norfolk, Colleen Flanagan and her husband Bill, of Galloway, OH, Denise Mahoney and her husband David of Plymouth, James Shea and his wife Dara of Milford and Diane Holland and her husband Tom of Norwell. Grandmother of David, John III, Jeffrey, Lindsay, Erin, Gregory, Ryan, Christopher, Michael, Kendra, Thomas, and Brett. Great grandmother to John IV, William, Lucas, Evelyn, and Maya. Daughter of the late Frank and Agnes O’ Sullivan. Sister of the late Joan Lynch and Flurry O’Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
