Hilda R. Ferris (Stracqualursi) of Canton passed away July 2nd. Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston Public Schools and moved to Canton in 1995. She worked for Westinghouse in Hyde Park and Bradllees in Roslindale for many years. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Beloved wife of the late Stephen L. Mother of Jayne Dudley and her husband Paul of Canton and Stephen L. Ferris, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Brewster. Grandmother of Michelle Hunt, Erika Dudley, Stephen Ferris and Heather Ferris. Great grandmother of Grace and Everett Hunt. Sister of Marion Averbuch of Falmouth and the late Antoinette Pemberton and Theresa Wheeler. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Parish Canton Thursday morning at 10:30. Burial Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Assn at www.alz.org. | |||||
