FALL RIVER … Richard “Richie” Torres, 58, of Fall River, MA passed away, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at home.
Mr. Torres was the husband of Barbara (Helley) Torres of Fall River.
He was born in Fall River a son of Carolyn (Benoit) Manchester of Fall River and the late Antone Torres, Sr. and had lived in this city all of his life.
Mr. Torres was employed by Borges Brothers Trucking Company as a Sanitation Engineer and prior to that he worked as a supervisor for The American Fence Company.
Richie liked to build cars and was a jack of all trades.
Survivors include his wife; mother; 2 sisters: Sheryl Torres and Ann-Marie Torres; a daughter Amanda Lynn “Mandi” Helley of Fall River; 8 grandchildren: Cameron; Christian; Makaela; Mariah; Meadow; Mason; Cayden and Layla. He was the father of the late Michael Helley and the brother of the Antone Torres, Jr.
