Michael E. Costello
5/20/2022

Michael Edward Costello was a grandson, son, brother, friend, and athlete, whose time on this earth ended on May 20, 2022 at the age of 35. Michael is survived by his mother Debra Leshinski, father Edward Costello, step dad Jim Leshinski, grandmother Judith Collari, brother Mark and wife Denise, sister Katie and fiancé Evan, sister Danielle, and sister Kristin and husband Weliton, along with many adoring aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael loved his niece and nephews, JP, Brandon, Nick, and Aaleyah. He is predeceased by his brother Brian, paternal grandmother Lillian and maternal grandfather Frederick.

He was a talented hockey player, having played around the world in Canada, France, and Alaska. His natural skill was undeniable. An emotionally complex and passionate soul, if you were loved by Michael, you knew his reserved nature just as well as his playful jabs and slapstick humor. He loved spending time outside and gardening with his Mom. He had a knack for knowing how to provide quiet support to those close to him. While the loss of Michael is and will forever be mourned, his family finds comfort in knowing his soul is peacefully at rest.

In lieu of public services, the family respectfully requests the privacy of a closed celebration. Donations can be made to the Herren Project theherrenproject.networkforgood.com
