Mary L. (McKenna) Donnellan, age 87, of Randolph, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family on Friday, May 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul D. Donnellan.
Born in Parish of Orleans, Louisiana on March 20, 1935, she was a loving daughter of the late Edward F. and Louise F. (Netz) McKenna.
Mary grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi and was a graduate of the University of Mississippi. She had made her home in Randolph for the past forty-eight and prior to retiring had worked as a Director for Self Help, Inc. in Avon.
She is survived by her devoted sons Paul “Chisai” Donnellan, Jr. and his wife Cindy of New Hampshire and Mark E. Donnellan and his wife Heidi of Mansfield. She was the beloved Nana of Nicole Marie Gause and her husband Barret, Taylor Donnellan and his wife Kaylee, Jake Donnellan, Sam Donnellan, Teddy Donnellan and the great grand Nana of Cooper, Sophia, Emmi, Mary Ava and Jon Paul. She was the dear sister of Edward “Eddie” McKenna and his wife Dee of Mississippi and the late George McKenna. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, her two special friends Linda and Sue, as well as her best four-legged friend “Jackson”.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, June 4th from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield. Burial will be held privately at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the National Cemetery, Mary’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the charity of one’s choice.
