Obituary

Hazel (Mallette) Reddin, age 66, passed away on May 21, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 9, 1955 in Springfield, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Alice (White) Mallette. Hazel worked as a housekeeper for the Hampden Inn for over 16 years and then at Six Flags Amusement Park for over 10 Years. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Reddin Jr., of Springfield; 2 daughters, Katie Santos and her husband Rogerio of South Yarmouth and Ann Saez of Springfield; 2 brothers, Arthur “Rocky” Mallette and his wife Diane of FL and Alan Mallette of Sunderland; 6 beloved grandchildren, Jonathan, Skye-Ann, Alexandra, Andrea, Hunter and Jacob along with 2 great grandchildren, Ailani and August. She is predeceased by her sister Daphne Simmons. The celebration of life service will be held on June 8th at the Chicopee Moose Lodge from 4-7. In honor of Hazel’s favorite color, the family is asking everyone to wear something purple. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
