Lucille A. St.Pierre
Lucille A. (Bedard) St.Pierre, 99, of Salem, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, , at the NSMC / Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Henry “Buster” St.Pierre, Jr., with whom she shared nearly fifty years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late George and Zelia (Tardiff) Bedard. Lucille first worked for the former Pequot Mills where she first met ‘Buster’ her husband to be. She later worked for the former CBS Hytron in Danvers until their marriage in 1956. During her married years she worked part time at Almy’s Warehouse as a cashier and lastly in the cafeteria at Salem State College. Lucille was a loving wife and mother with a wonderful sense of humor, who could find a ray of sunshine even on the darkest days. She and her family enjoyed summering in Sanford, Maine for many years. In addition to her devotion to her large extended family, she was an active member of Ste. Anne Parish in Salem volunteering for many of their fund raising events. She will be missed by many.
Lucille is survived by her son Paul H. St.Pierre and his wife Barbara of Salem as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her siblings; Olivette Theriault, Theresa Hutchinson, Leona McAuley, Aurhea “Anne” Boulay, Claudette Pinault and Arthur, Roland & Raymond Bedard.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM to be followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem. Calling hours at the funeral Home will be on Thursday, May 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary
