MAHONEY, Catherine Theresa "Kay" (Cuddihy) of West Roxbury, May 18, 2022. Born in Charlestown on February 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Margaret (O’Neil) and Richard Cuddihy. Beloved wife of the late John P. Mahoney. Dear sister of the late Thomas, James, Richard and Jeremiah, Aunt of Eileen and her husband Kevin Mahoney and several other nieces and nephews and cousins. Catherine attended Gate of Heaven in South Boston, loved to travel, especially to Florida and Ireland. She was a longtime employee of Jordan Marsh, downtown Boston, a member of the Irish Social Club of Boston and the Hyannis Yacht Club. Above all Catherine was deeply devoted to God and John, her late husband of 65 years. She had amazing faith, trust, love and devotion to God. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in St. Theresa of Avila Chapel, 2078 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, May 23, 2022 from 10:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
