Daniel R. Schulz, age 61, a lifelong resident of Foxborough, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Born in Attleboro, MA on July 1, 1960, he was a loving son of the late Rudolph N., Sr. and Ruth J. (Lambirth) Schulz.

Danny grew up and was educated in Foxborough. At a young age, he followed in his family’s footsteps in the excavation and construction industry and was the proud owner of his own company, D.R. Schulz.

He was truly one of a kind and a jack of all trades. Danny had the ability to build or fix just about anything and was truly a gifted mechanic. His family and close circle of friends were very special to him and he will be greatly missed forever. Danny was by far the definition of a person who would give you the shirt off his back and go out of his way to help others in need.

Dan’s other hobbies included be a talented drummer, gardening, woodworking, a love for horses, a car enthusiast and an avid race ran.

He is survived by his devoted sisters and brother: Deborah F. Palilunas of Clearwater, Florida, Rudolph N. Schulz, Jr. of Lawrence, Kansas, Nancy A. McNamara and her husband Thomas of Andover, Maine and Amy R. Mood and her husband Kempton of Attleboro Falls. He is also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, May 7th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield. Burial will be held privately at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
