Anthony P. Andreotti

Anthony P. Andreotti of Canton passed away April 3rd. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School and Burdette Business School. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was the Senior Vice President of Operations for Crosby Valve and Gauge for over 25 years before retiring. After retiring Tony became the Veteran’s Service Agent for the Town of Canton where he took great pride of helping the town’s veteran’s until his retirement in 2019. Tony was an active member of the Town of Canton where he previously was the Town Treasurer, a member of the Board of Selectmen, President of Canton Pop Warner, a Coach and member of the Board of Directors of Canton Little League, and founder of the St. John School Foundation. Tony also served on the Board of Directors for the Norwood Hospital and enjoyed spending his summers in Wareham.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia E. (Devine). Father of David Andreotti and his wife Cathy of Canton and James Andreotti and his wife Diane of Northboro. Grandfather of James Andreotti and his wife Mica, Nicholas Andreotti and his wife Erin, Lt. Cassandra Lacadie, United States Army, and her husband Ty, Andrew Andreotti and Anthony Andreotti. Great grandfather of Jaxson Andreotti. Brother of Victor Andreotti and his wife Janet of Norwood, Yolanda Young of Cape Cod and the late Mary Belich. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Parish (Formerly St. John the Evangelist) Friday morning at 9:00 am. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canton Veteran’s Service Department 801 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021.
