Mary Lou (Raposa) Dias, 80, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, January 16, 2022 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Dias.
Mrs. Dias was born in St. Michael, Azores, daughter of the late Manuel C. and Hilda (Perreira) Raposa and had resided in Westport since 1970. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She was a loving wife, mother, and VaVo to her family.
Survivors include her 3 sons: James R. Dias and his wife Deidre of Dartmouth, Mark J. Dias and is wife AnneMarie of Westport and David R. Dias of New Bedford; 3 daughters: Sheila M. Smeaton of Westport, Sherrie M. Lees and her husband Michael of Westport and Michelle M. Calise and her husband Kristian of Richmond, RI; 2 brothers: Joseph Raposa of Westport and Vincent Raposa of Fall River; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
She was the grandmother of the late James R. Dias II and sister of the late Manuel Raposa.
