SHEA, John J. Of Duxbury, formerly of Mission Hill and Jamaica Plain, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2021. Beloved husband of Anne Marie (Roddy) Shea. Loving father of John and Alana both of Los Angeles, CA., and Patrick of Charleston, SC. Devoted son of the late Michael and Peg (Murphy) Shea. Dear brother of James Shea of Scituate, Maureen Howells of Medfield and the late Michael Shea. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Wednesday morning at 9:00 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury at 10:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00. (Facial coverings must be worn in the funeral home and church.) Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
