Lisa M. Magnasco of Galloway, NJ., and formerly of Winthrop, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2021. She was 50 years old. Lisa was the beloved wife of George Bruce Homan Sr. Born in Malden; she was the cherished daughter of Geraldine (Ahern) and the late James A. “Jimmy Magg” Magnasco of Winthrop.
Lisa loved animals and was the proud owner of Linwood Grooming in Linwood, NJ.
Lisa was the dear sister of Jeralyn P. Zuffante and her husband Christopher, Deborah A. D’Andrea, Dena M. White and her husband Matthew all of Winthrop and James A. Magnasco Jr. and his wife Susan of East Boston. She was the loving aunt of 11 nieces and nephews.
Lisa’s funeral will be from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, on Tuesday, January 4, at 9AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michael the Archangel Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church) 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 3, from 4-8pm.
