Brenda Chilli Loiselle, 70

Brenda Chilli Loiselle, age 70, of Mansfield, passed away comfortably, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Glenn F. Loiselle, to whom she was wed on July 20, 1974.
Born in Attleboro, MA on May 31, 1951, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph I. and Angela M. (Velletri) Chilli.
Brenda grew up in North Attleboro and was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School. She continued her studies, graduating in 1973 from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT and later returned to Lesley College in Cambridge, earning a Masters of Fine Arts Degree.
In 2018, Mrs. Loiselle retired as the Director of Fine Arts at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro. Her career at Bishop Feehan spanned over thirty years, where she was well respected by her fellow educators and loved by her students. Her involvements at Bishop Feehan included serving as a coach for the Majorettes and Color Guard, serving as Senior Class Advisor, organizing the father-daughter dances, being in charge of the Junior-Senior Class Proms and coordinating annual high school graduations.
A resident of Mansfield for the past forty-seven years, Brenda was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and, for fifteen years, was the owner of Artistic Embroidery at her home in Mansfield. When younger, Brenda was employed at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston.
A parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Brenda cherished the memories created with her family, especially with her grandsons. She had a special place in her heart for her home in Mansfield, enjoyed gardening, was an exceptional cook, and treasured the times spent at South Beach on Martha’s Vineyard.
In addition to her beloved husband of forty-seven years, she is survived by her devoted children: Robert Loiselle and his wife Alison of Medford and Anne Fontaine and her husband Eric of Mansfield. She was the loving Nonna of Dylan Loiselle, Grant Fontaine and Harris Fontaine. She was the dear sister of Dr. Sheila Raimondo and her husband Dr. Thomas Raimondo of Greenville, RI. She was the beloved aunt of Dr. Theresa Raimondo and Dr. Emilia Raimondo and the dear niece of Sylvia Chilli and Betty Velletri.
The family would like to say thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Brigham / Mass General Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in addition to the many family, friends, neighbors, and our "Feehan Family" who were a constant source of support and encouragement.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 7th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 8th at 11:30 A.M. at Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, Brenda’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Fine Arts Department at Bishop Feehan High School, 70 Holcott Drive, Attleboro, MA 02703.
Those attending Brenda’s services are asked to wear face masks and are encouraged to dress in bright colors.
