Timothy P. Gahagan
Retired Lindenmeyr Munroe Truck Driver

TEWKSBURY: Timothy P. Gahagan, age 61, a resident of Tewksbury for 27 years, formerly of Billerica and Wilmington, passed away at home in the care of his family and hospice on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of Debbie A. (Kenny) Gahagan. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary on September 24, 2021.

Born in Chelsea on September 25, 1960, he was the son of Karin (Neuber) Gahagan, also known as Omi, of Dresden, Germany, and the late Owen B. Gahagan, also known as Bernie, of Boston.

Tim was raised in Chelsea, attended Chelsea schools and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1978.

He later attended U.Mass-Lowell where he received certification in Waste Water Management.

Prior to his recent retirement, he worked for the Lindenmeyr Munroe Corporation for many years.

He enjoyed cooking holiday dinners for his family. He was renowned for his cookies, calzones, and cheesecakes.

Throughout both of his son’s athletic careers, Tim never missed a single game of theirs. More often than not, you could hear Tim and Debbie’s enthusiasm from the stands. Watching their boys play was one of their favorite hobbies.

Tim was also known as a music fanatic. As a teenager and young adult he played in a band with his closest friends. Later on in his life, he was able to continue his love for music and played in another band with his oldest son.

His admiration for rescue dogs was unmatched. He leaves behind two of his own puppies Grif and Cinnamon, as well as his son’s dogs who he helped raise, Rukkus and Charlie.

Tim was also known as a working man. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he was always willing to help regardless of whatever was going on in his personal life. There was not a project that he couldn’t help someone accomplish.
