FALL RIVER... Michael E. Carreiro, 63, of Fall River, MA passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at home.
He was the husband of Joanne (Golen) Carreiro of Fall River and the widower of Diane Carreiro.
Mr. Carreiro was born in Fall River and was the son of the late Edward and Alice (Arruda) Carreiro. He had been a lifelong resident of the city.
He was a pipe fitter for the Fall River School Department.
He had a love of all sports and was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Boston Red Sox. In his spare time, he loved to spend time with his family, his beloved dog Gwen and just relaxing at home.
Michael is survived by his wife Joanne; stepson Ted Biszko of Swansea; stepdaughter Tracy Biszko of Fall River; 4 step grandchildren Eric, David, Nicole and Kyle; and 2 step great-grandchildren Avarie and Ashton.
Memorial visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 from 4 – 6 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant Street Fall River, MA 02723 with a prayer service starting at 6 PM in the funeral home.
