Thomas J. Bevilacqua, 74, of Fall River, unexpectedly passed away at home on November18, 2021. He was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Kirby) Bevilacqua.
Mr. Bevilacqua was born in Fall River and had been a longtime resident of the city. He was a graduate of Providence College and went on to get his Master's Degree from Kent State. Prior to his retirement, he worked for the Fall River Public Schools as a special education teacher where he focused on teaching sign language to hearing impaired students. Following retirement, Mr. Bevilacqua volunteered as an addiction counselor.
Survivors include his sister: Ann Marie Murray and her husband Robert of Westport; his brother: Carl Bevilacqua and his partner Valerie Manning of Dartmouth; and his great-niece: Alexandra Buchanan.
He was the uncle of the late Derek M. Leboeuf and spouse of the late Russ Cauthren.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 9:00 A.M.
