Magdalen R. Christian, age 62, of Natick, formerly of Canton passed away October 28th. Born in Boston, she was raised in Canton and graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton and attended Catholic University in Washington DC, and graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music. She worked as the Music Program Coordinator at Wellesley College for 12 years and previously worked at MIT in the Legal Department. Maggie was an accomplished singer and enjoyed traveling especially to Columbia, and was a member of the Green Mountain Guild and other theatrical organizations.
Beloved daughter of the late Marjorie and Howard Christian. Sister of Howard J. Christian Jr. and his wife Diana of Braintree, David M. Christian and his wife Maureen Benton of West Newbury, Emily J. Christian of Medfield, John D. Christian of Norwood, Dorothy Baker and her husband Martin of Plainville, and the late Carol A. and Mark S. Christian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church (formerly St. John the Evangelist Church) Canton Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday morning prior to the mass from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
