Mary M. Gilmore (Powers) of Canton, formerly of Franklin and Hyde Park passed away October 25th. Born in Montague City, she was raised in Deerfield and graduated from Deerfield High School. She was a devoted wife and mother and worked for New England Telephone as an Operator before marriage. She has lived in Canton since 2018 and previously lived in Franklin for 24 years and Hyde Park for 25 years.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Mother of Joseph Gilmore and his late wife Kristen of Franklin, Charles Gilmore and his wife Frances of Middleboro, John Gilmore and his wife Debra of Franklin, Robert Gilmore of Delray Beach, FL, Elaine Gilmore of Delray Beach, FL, and James Gilmore and his wife Colleen of Canton. Sister of Helen Jenkins of Greenfield and late James, Mark, and Charles Powers. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Oscar Romero Church (formerly St. John the Evangelist) Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin. | |||||
