James M. "Mitty" Roach, 62, of Dartmouth passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Ann M. (Bourgeois) Roach.
Born and raised in Fall River, son of the late John M. and Florence M. (Sylvia) Roach, he moved to California for a number of years prior to living in Dartmouth for last 30 years. Mr. Roach enjoyed fishing, but most of all he loved being with his family and friends. He loved his pet dog Maddie.
Including his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters: Jamie M. McNealley and her husband Shawn of Hamilton, OH and Julie M. Thibodeau of Dartmouth; a sister: Colleen Catanho of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren: Katherine McNealley, Elizabeth McNealley, Jacqueline Thibodeau, Matthew McNealley and Andrea Thibodeau; and several nieces and nephews.
He was father-in-law of the late Andy Thibodeau, brother of the late Kathleen Correia, Doreen Roach, John M. Roach, Jr., David M. Roach, Paul M. Roach and Pauline M. Roach and grandfather of the late baby Andy Thibodeau.
At his request, private services were held.
