Nancy L. Fournier, age 62, passed away on Aug 27, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on Jul 9, 1959 to Harvey and Joan (Woods) Graves. She worked as a librarian for many years at the former Assumption School in Chicopee. Nancy leaves her husband, Ronald G. Fournier of Chicopee; two daughters, Katie Fournier of Chicopee and Meg Chisholm and her husband Adam of Springfield and her mother Joan Graves of Chicopee. She is predeceased by her father Harvey Graves who passed away in 2004. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Sept. 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12:00 PM at St Anne Church, 30 College St. Chicopee with burial to follow at St Rose de Lima Cemetery in Aldenville. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, Giraffeconservation.org to save her beloved giraffes.
