Catherine I. (Titus) Fagan, age 84, of Norton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald G. Fagan, Sr., to whom she was wed for forty-five years at the time of his death on November 9, 2006.
Born in Mansfield, MA on November 21, 1936, she was a loving daughter of the late Earl F., Sr. and Dorothy (Smith) Titus.
Cathy grew up and was educated in Mansfield. She had made her home in Norton for the past sixty years and before retiring, had worked as an assembler at the Sinclair Manufacturing Company in the Chartley section of Norton and previously at the former Kilburn Glass Co, also in Norton.
Cathy’s greatest pride and comfort in life was her devoted family. Her hobbies included Bingo, jigsaw puzzles, card games and especially shopping trips with her granddaughter Alexa.
She is survived by her devoted children: Pamela Jean Shumate of Central Fall, RI, Paula Ann Welch and her husband Robert of Whitinsville and Donald G. Fagan, Jr. and his wife Kelly-Jean of South Attleboro. She was the dear sister of Dorothy Smith of Norton, Barbara Carufel of Norton and the late Marion May, Raymond Titus, Milton Titus, Ronald Titus and Earl Titus, Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of Mark Welch and his wife Heather, Nicholas Welch and his fiancé Kara Hamm, Brandon Welch and his wife Katelyn, Benjamin Shumate, Chanel Shumate, Alexa Jacobs and her husband Zurich and Brett Fagan and his fiancé Alicia dart. She is also survived by her treasured great grandchildren, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, August 29th from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
Burial will take place privately at a later date at the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton.
