Mary E. Lukaszewicz (Skindiel) of Canton passed away July 12th at the Walpole health Care Center. Born in Boston, she was raised in Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School Class of 1953 where she was a member of the Field Hockey team. She has lived in Canton since 1956 where she was a secretary for the Canton Conservation Commission for 26 years. She was also an accomplished artist, accordion player, and polka dancer. Mary was a great lover of animals and nature and was known as Mrs. Conservation in Canton.
Beloved wife of Edward N. Mother of Larry Lukaszewicz and his wife Lee of Canton. Funeral service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday afternoon at 1:00. Visiting hours prior to the service Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. | |||||
