Daniel T. Rampino age 72 of Canton formerly of Hyde Park passed away July 6th at his home in Canton. Born and raised in Hyde Park son of the late Daniel and Grace (Mingoia) Rampino. He graduated from Jamaica Plain High School and Essex Junior College. Dan worked for the Commuter Railroad for over 30 years before retiring in 2014. Dan was a former referee for USA Hockey for over 30 years. He was an avid Bruins fan. Dan is survived by his beloved wife Claudia (Pearce).Loving father of Mark and his fiancee Jennifer Bernier of Taunton and Paul of Canton. Proud Papa of Paul Jr of Weymouth, Paislee, Kash and Kayson of Canton. Brother of Louis and his wife Diane of Middleboro, MaryAnne Rampino of Bellingham and Richard Rampino of Franklin. Brother-in-law of Brian Pearce and Annette and Robert Luisi of Hyde Park. Survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray &Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street, Canton on Sunday July 11th from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton on Monday morning July 12th at 10:00 am. Burial Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
