Devin Luc Larocque-Thompson, age 20, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
Born in Attleboro, MA on February 25, 2001, he was a loving and devoted son of David W. Thompson, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Norton and Jill S. Chancey and her husband William of Middleboro.
Devin grew up in Norton, was educated in Norton schools and was a 2019 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in South Easton. At the time of his death, he was employed for the Anderson Construction Company in Norton.
Devin was a well- loved young man whose family was the essence of his life, especially his niece Meadow Burgess. His hobbies included art, airsoft, music, nature, animals and he’ll always be remembered for his “sharp wit”.
In addition to parents and niece, he was the much-loved brother of Madeleine A. Burgess and her husband Jake of Middleboro, Charlotte L. Larocque- Thompson of Norton, Tristan G. Archer of Beverly, William M. Chancey, Jr. of Mansfield, Darian G. Archer of Norton and Nicolle E. Chancey of Lowell. He was the cherished grandson of Nikki Thompson of Brockton, Lawrence and Mary Larocque of Norton and the late David Thompson, Sr. of Maryville, TN He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, June 29th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 30th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
