As a faithful servant of the Lord, Augusta enjoyed singing in a choir and being a part of the children’s ministry. She was a woman with many great qualities and virtues: wise, strong, resilient, kind and gentle-- everything you would want in a good wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She had a contagious smile which gained the love and respect of many. Augusta was a true mentor to all who relied on her for help and support, continuously giving positive encouragement and guidance. She was an icon. Although she had many children, no one could tell which one was her favorite because her love was unconditional to all.
