Ryan J. Stoots, 30, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Boston after a brief illness.
Born in Manassas, VA, son Kathleen A. McCarthy of Bellingham and the late Ronnie D. Stoots. He had lived in Westport for most of his life where he worked as a manager for an auto lot. Ryan loved riding dirt bikes, quads and motorcycles as well as camping and fishing.
Including his mother, survivors include his maternal grandparents: Michael and Mary McCarthy of Westport; a sister: Megan L. Stoots of Fall River; and a nephew: Jordan J. Stoots. He is also survived by Kathleen's fiancé Edward Langlais and Ronnie's fiancée Melissa Peixoto; 2 step-brothers: Ashton and Clayton Peixoto; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was grandson of the late James Stoots and Sharon Roberts both of WV.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M..
At the family's request, funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a college fund for Ryan's nephew Jordan that has been set up at Westport Federal Credit Union.
