William J. “Bill” Moore of Winthrop formerly of West Roxbury passed away on April 27, 2021. He was 61 years old. Born in Boston, he was the cherished son of the late Lawrence W. and Evelyn (Cavanaugh) Moore.
Prior to his retirement, Bill worked in telecommunications industry for I.B.E.W. Local 103.
Bill was the dear brother of Lawrence W. Moore of Littleton, NH, John T. Moore and his wife Susan of Peabody, Robert F. Moore of Foxboro and Maryalice Moore of Boston. Bill is also survived by his niece and Godchild Shauna Moore and nieces Sheila, Pebbles, Kateri and Cheryl.
A visiting hour will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, MA, on Saturday, May 8, from 8:30 to 9:30AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery-Boston.
