| Alvin Lawson Howard, 90, of Rebecca passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 in Turner County.
Alvin was born in Turner County on July 23, 1930 to the late Thomas Ira and Clyde L. Sheperd Howard. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and attended Rebecca Baptist Church. He was also a 1947 graduate of Rebecca High School. Alvin served his country with honor and retired from the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Diann Wilkerson Howard of Rebecca; daughters, Jill (Robert) Dosee of San Antonio, Texas, Deborah (Jonathan Wallace) Chambers of Plano, Texas and Peggy (Frank) Avalos of Georgetown, Texas; son, Jack (Susan) Howard of Devine, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 30, 2021 in Rose Hill Cemetery. No visitation will be held. | ||||
