O’Connell, William J. Jr. of Dedham, formerly of West Roxbury passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 3, 2021. Beloved husband of 63 years to Patricia (Ward) O’Connell. Loving and devoted father of William F. O’Connell of Quincy, Edward P. O’Connell of Somerville, Brian M. O’Connell and his wife Kate of West Roxbury and Kelli Gates and her husband Brian of Quincy. Cherished “Papa” to Ryan Palmer, Kyle Gates, Collin Gates and Maeve O’Connell. Dear Brother of Rita Broadbent, Edward O’Connell and the late James, Patricia and Carol.
