In Brockton of East Taunton, Michael Larkin Jr. husband of Rosemary (LaBelle) Larkin died at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 84. Born in Taunton, Michael was the son of the late Michael and Katherine (Starvish) Larkin Sr. Michael was a graduate of Monsignor Coyle High School class of 1955 and Lincoln Technical Inst. in RI. Then he enlisted in to the US Army serving from 1960 to 1962. He owned his own auto transmission shop after the Army, and then went on to work for Grande Brothers where he took care of the Machines. After that he worked for JC Goff then went on to work for TMLP as the Chief Mechanic retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Redman’s Club in West Wareham. Michael was the father of Michael Larkin III and his wife Lisa of East Taunton, Jeffrey Larkin of So Easton and Christopher Larkin and his wife Jessica of CA. Grandfather of Travers, Riley, Keven and Kylee Larkin. Brother of Joan Dawson and her husband Glen of Canada and the late Barbara Spencer, Robert and Eugene Larkin. Michael is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, March 25th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11 AM. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery in East Taunton.
