Larry F. Danue, age 65, of Taunton, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Born in Attleboro, MA on August 2, 1955, he was a loving son of the late Francis D. and Carol L. (Wellman) Danue.
Larry grew up and was educated in Norton. He had worked as a delivery man at the former Berard’s Home Furnishing Co. in Attleboro and was previously employed at Sinclair’s Manufacturing Co. in the Chartley section of Norton.
A resident of Taunton for many years, Larry loved visiting with his kids and grandchildren. His hobbies included playing video games, watching science fiction movies, music, playing the guitar, metal detecting and a special interest in the paranormal.
He is survived by his devoted children: Larry Danue of Georgetown, Maine, Paul Gomez and his wife Melanie of Bath, Maine, Tyna Butler and her husband Thomas of Raynham, Amy Stevens of Taunton, Heather Bleau and her husband Christopher of Pawtucket, RI, Duane Peterson of North Providence, RI, Dillon Peterson of South Attleboro and Kimberly Danue and her fiancé Cody Janes of Taunton. He was the cherished grandfather of Lacey, Kyle, Nathan, Arianna, Hayley, Alex, Cyrus, Caiden and Cameron. He was the dear brother of James Danue and his wife Maria of Clearwater, FL, Raymond Danue of Pawtucket, RI, Lorraine Caponigro and her husband Gary of Franklin and is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton at a later date and time to be announced.
